THE NEW ME !

I'M A HAM !I am surprised I have enough brain power
left to write this bolg! I have been studing
for about four weeks to get my Ham Radio License.
TODAY I PASSED THE EXAM!
There were 250 questions I studied and a
random 35 on the test. I only missed two!
When they were grading my test Dad was watching.
When the test was graded he began cheering and clapping
and I thought we were both going to cry!
Now I can get back to my other reading!
These are all the books on my present reading list.
When Dad saw these books on the table he asked me what they were there for.
I told him they are all the books I am reading and I am putting
them on my blog. He said" The kids might faint when they see that!".
Yep...like I said it's "THE NEW ME".
Now this is the book I need to be reading!
Last Sunday I was called to be the Relief Society President!
Life just never calms down, does it?

Something else new. Did I tell you we have Norwegian ancerstry?
N-O-T . . .

. . . just a beautiful granddaughter who likes Norweigen food.
(Or at least fish and chips at the Crazy Norwegian.)

We were once again blessed to have Maricela spend the weekend
with us. I guess it is not a new thing that we spent time baking.
I have to say this Fruit Cocktail Cake was just d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!
(That's why I have included the recipe.)

Something else new in the neighborhood . . .
SPRING!

Spring means beautiful flowers, beautiful weather
and a beautiful girl!

If you look closely to the left of Maricela you will see that . . .

I exagerrated a bit about the weather!
Oh well, it was still a wonderful day!
Who knows what is down the road ahead.
Could it be the new you?
HAM RADIO ANYONE?

I am impressed with your selection of reading material! I don't think I could read more than one thing at a time!!
And congrats on the new calling...some people are just perfect for those BIG callings, and I know you will be a great President!
I love when you post pictures of Mari on your blog! She is so lucky to get to be with you and Dad often! Give her a hug for me next time you have her over!
