Four Beaches

Yesterday we took a day trip to Coos Bay.
We were going to shop for furniture because ours is not very comfortable.
Something kept pulling us away from the furniture stores!
We took a "side trip" through Charleston. (Which is south of Coos Bay.)
We discoved one beach we had never seen before.
It was very easy to walk down to.
(Something we are beginning to appreciate!)
Then we found a beach we had seen when we visited here
eight years ago. At that time we thought it would be a
PERFECT PLACE
to have a family reunion.
Above is a picture of Cape Arago.
Below is a little beach that we thought
would be perfect for the smaller grandkids to play.
It is in a small inlet on the Cape.
Can't you see Kaylee and Cardon and Katie building sand castles here?
There is a camp ground just to the east of this little beach.
This is the driveway to Jose and Wendy's new house.

This is Bullard's Beach. It is just about a mile and a half from
that driveway! How cool is that?!!

Another easy walk!

This was our first time seeing Bullard State Park.
What a very beautiful place.
It felt a bit like being in New Mexico with a
b-e-a-c-h!
When we returned to Port Orford we went by one of our favorite beaches.
This beach is near our friend R.J.'s house.
Is there any place more beautiful to watch the sun set?

(David get down here with your photography talent!)

A beautiful end to the day for sea lovers!

Wow, Mom! Those are some of the prettiest beach pictures I think you have posted so far! The beach here is NOTHING close to any of those beaches! How lucky you and Dad are, and soon Wendy and Jose! We are SO going to miss them, but I am happy you are getting them! Maybe someday we can be close by too! Ryan would love it there just for the fact that he could wear LONG SLEEVE shirts and pants alot!! Funny kid! Love you, Mom!
